Be sure to have your bikes and a picnic lunch packed. The miles of hard packed sandy beach is perfect for biking, long strolls and then finding a secluded spot for a picnic lunch or dinner. The island is part of the Waimea Estuary and also covered in pine plantations owned by the Tasman District Council. These pine plantations make for great mountain biking!
